In order to comprehensively answer your questions and requests, we may ask you (specifically in the Contact Us page of this website, or via direct personal contact with you) to provide us with some information this being your full name and title, and then your contact coordinates in the company you work for.

The provision of this information by you is entirely voluntary, but if you do so provide it this is taken to mean that you explicitly accept our Internal Data Privacy Policy where a full description of this is included later. All information you may send to our company will be electronically submitted to a server and saved to a server, where this information will be handled as strictly confidential and will not be circulated. The recording of any data related to Customers and their orders with us is always done in a highly-secure Database linked to this website, running on the aforementioned server, which is fully protected and accessable only by qualified company personnel. Since any one Customer will not be told the details of another Customer, his / her data will be ensured to be private.

ProductosRubi SLNE is a Spanish registered business listed on the Mercantile Registries of Madrid and Barcelona. With respect to this our business abides by Spanish legislation governing the privacy of personal data as stated in the law “Ley Orgánica de Protección de Datos 15/1999” and in the law “Ley 34/2002, de Servicios de la Sociedad de la Información y de Comercio Electrónico (LSSI)”. This Spanish legislation is an implementation of the following European Union Directives :-
Directive 95/46/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council, dated 24 October 1995, concerning “The Protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and of the free movement of such data”.
Directive 2002/58/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council, dated 12 July 2002, concerning “The Processing of data and the protection of privacy in the electronics communications sector”.

Keeping data on other parties can only be done with their consent (in-accordance with the above Laws and Directives). An accepted form of such consent is a Contract which such parties sign with us. Since we will always agree signed Contracts with Suppliers, Customers, Transport operators, Services Subcontractors, etc., in order to provide our services, this also will ensure that we abide by the above Directives which have been written into law in all the Signatory Member States of the European Union.

International Sales Policy

Since purchasing functionality is based on a salesperson's visit to a Customer and the recording of Customer business details on the database after the event, we implicitly control the fact that all sales of our products and services ONLY upon agreement with the Customer. This website as deployed on the Internet, only advertises our products and services in the international marketplace. Purchasing functionality is not implemented on it.

The website of ProductosRubi SLNE which advertises our products and services for international import / export of Organic Food & Beverage products (especially including Extra Virgin Olive Oil & Table Olives) is based on the wholly-owned Internet domain www.olivarubi.com which runs on a contracted Hosting Service based in Carlow, Ireland ( www.blacknight.ie ). The database which lies behind this website also runs on the same Hosting Service, and is linked under program control to the website above. One of the most important files on this database is our Products Catalogue.

www.olivarubi.com : This website is only implemented on the Internet for advertising purposes concerning our products and services, where this information is not destined to the consumer public but to Retail / Distribution businesses operating world-wide. It is clearly stated on the website in several places that it is left entirely up to the discretion of those businesses to contact us by e-mail or phone call to take matters further. It is not possible for anyone to actually purchase anything, nor know about pricing details etc., by interacting with this website.

After contact is made with us by an external business, we visit such a business in-person in order to establish a contract for sale of products to them. Such a contract will be agreed and signed by both parties under the legal jurisdiction local to that business. Amongst other things the contract will state in-full all of the Protection of Data Privacy terms and conditions that are required of ProductosRubi SLNE by the relevant Spanish laws and European Union directives. In order to process a contract for sale of products to a business in a manner totally to the satisfaction of that business, we also conclude agreed and signed contracts with our suppliers, and the transport providers which will actually do the deliveries. Please Note that this Hosting Service – of name Blacknight Solutions – operates through an Internet domain with a (dot)ie URL extension. Such Internet domains and the Irish based companies themselves who operate through them are regulated by the Irish government, under Data Security and Privacy laws that are the most stringent in the European Union. This is one of the main reasons why we chose such a service provider in the first place.

The website is designed to be display-only in all but one exceptional case. This is the Contact Us page of the website on which there is a webmail Submit form through which Users can send us their contact coordinates such as their name, their business address / e-mail address / international telephone number, any typed comments they wish to make, and a set of optional buttons indicating the type of communication they wish to make. Usage of this submit form is completely voluntary on the part of users. Secure copy mechanisms

With respect to the Database, our company is not directly involved in making and maintaining secure copies of same. As was described earlier this Database runs on servers managed by Blacknight Solutions based in Ireland. This business entity guarantees under Irish government law that they ensure the software and data held on their managed servers cannot be lost nor corrupted in any way whatsoever.

Authorising the use of data

After a person working for an external business entity who is interested in buying our products and services contacts us directly by e-mail, phone call, or indeed in-person, we take matters further only on the basis of drawing-up and signing a mutually agreed contract between that external business and ProductosRubi SLNE. This contract will state all the needed terms and conditions related to the manner in which the sale of our products and services is carried forward towards a successful conclusion. Part of this will address the authorisation by the external business that we can hold and use data on physical persons (working for that business) whom we may need to contact in the course of the subsequent workflow.
